Right, finally I am finishing up on the images I took from the trip months ago. There are still a few images pending in my stock library, but the images in this entry should round up most of what I want to share on this blog. A small collection of street and nature images round up my trip to Melbourne and Victoria.

There are mixed feelings. Happy I finally finished them. Apprehensive that such photographic opportunities do not come often. Indeed, it may be a while before I find myself with access to photogenic subjects again. Enjoy it while it lasts, but find other joys when they go away. Stay confident that there will be brighter and better opportunities down the road. Not necessarily about taking pictures, but many other things just as enjoyable.

Some changes may be around the corner in the next few months. I have been seriously considering a change of equipment. After four years with a Nikon full-frame DSLR, I am considering a shift to APS MILC. My imaging style largely revolves around deep depth-of-field with a preference for moderate-high ISO output. Full-frame with their shallow DOF and fast primes feels like unnecessary size, weight and cost for my shooting style. We’ll find out in six months if I make the switch.
