A random gallery collection of various genres including still life, street photography and architecture. Nikon D610 was the camera used. Most images were shot with the Nikkor 60mm f/2.8G Micro, and one with the Nikkor 28mm f/1.8G. Have fun!
The Orchard Central Mall occupies one of the top spots among the list of most interesting mall designs I have ever seen – though the decision for innovation in architecture may not be voluntary. It is built on a strip of land that is unusually long and also unusually narrow. A gallery for a popular theme: life among urban geometry plus a number of architectural shots from Singapore. –WY
Right I am changing the title format of my photo posts from “week” to “day”. Makes the titles shorter and less convoluted. 😛
Despite the flashy hustle and bustle of Myeongdong, there are bound to be quiet alleys behind the usual busy streets. Continue reading “Photo Album 2016 Day #143: Streets Of Myeondong, An Arty Shopping Mall”
Why does this post have the ‘1’ postfix? Because this is definitely not the last time I will be visiting and making images of this place. There should be more photographic possibilities in the future when inspiration strikes again. Built on the site of the original National Stadium (Which was quite a large splendid example of brutalism. Do an internet search for images of it if you are interested.), the new Sports Hub encompasses a new Stadium, sports facilities, a mall (yup this is Singapore all right 😉 ), links to an indoor stadium, links to another mall with a cinema, links to other event halls, ice skating ring, and a whole load of other stuff. Read what the official website says, “a world-class, integrated sports, entertainment, and lifestyle hub delivering world-class sporting and entertainment events.”
A set of images that I have spent countless times re-processing. Hopefully, this will be the last. Here I am re-visiting images of the Dongdaemun Design Plaza from 2014 again.
